We are looking for passionate Sales Associate to embark on an exciting career with us in Togo. In this position, the successful candidate will have an opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge in Commercial activities with enhanced exposure to Maersk end to end logistics products and value proposition.
You will be expected to:
• Build a strong, profitable, and value-based sales approach, with a proactive and customer-centric mindset.
• Drive effective sales initiatives resulting in revenue creation for both ocean and logistic solutions activities, contributing to top line growth.
Key Responsibilities
Pursue and secure business in line with objectives
Builds a good understanding of target customers and their business. Maximises business impact through effective probing, lead qualification, price quotes and rate negotiations. Provides a personalised service and builds relationships with customers based on value propositions and local differentiators. Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality.
Tracks competitor information and market trends and suggests required action. Communicates service or rate changes, notable trends, policies, and other relevant information to assigned accounts.
Take care and support small/medium size Customers across various verticals
Support the delivery of the Country Sales Team strategy and objectives.
Who we are looking for
A value-driven individual with at least 2 years’ experiencewithin the Transport & Logistics or Sales related activities.
Strong Customer-centric mindset in direct customer engagements roles.
Understanding of logistics solutions and operations will be a plus, specifically in roles in international transportation, warehousing and distribution, e-commerce.
Good stakeholder management with proven capability to build strong networks and influence decision makers.
Self-starter, self-motivator, comfortable with good level of autonomy, while also a team player.
Good written and oral communications skills; Good level of English will be a plus
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Personal Integrity and adherence to company’s values.
