The role provides operational management of security, resilience, compliance, business continuity, and crisis management capability in line with the Corporate Strategy and relevant requirements specific to the location.
Accountabilities:
Manage overall Security and Resilience activities of the terminal:
Ensure the terminal compliance with ISPS regulations and the applicable rules and regulations,
Ensure strong collaboration and positive involvement with Port authorities and major stakeholders.
Ensure the compliance, maintenance & development of the port facility security plan;
Ensure the performance and the effectiveness of the Terminal security duties,
Manage the effectiveness of security provision within the Security Control Room,
Ensure compliance with the contractual quality commitments related to the physical security services,
Ensure the Effectiveness of the Emergencies and Incidents process management,
Support Travel Risk & journey Management,
Coordinate and lead Business continuity activities within the terminal and collaborate with the Global Resilience function.
Coordinate and lead crisis management preparedness activities, including exercise frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Increase Security awareness at all levels within the Terminal,
Provide security support and advice,
Plan, schedule, train, and evaluate the performance of Security & Resilience activities,
Ensure follow-up and control of security contractual services within our terminal,
Create detailed reports of incidents using an internal incident management reporting system,
Provide support to the HSE team, performing inspections, supervisions, enforcing rules, and leading by example,
Implements, maintain, and monitor security procedures,
Identify, assess and control security risks,
Manage and insure the daily security performance and reporting,
Keeps records of all security-related inspections and investigations,
Conduct security trainings & exercises,
Manage / Provide advice on issues affecting the security of the port.
Ensure the readiness and effectiveness of the physical security measures.
Monitor and ensure compliance with the contractual commitments related to the guarding service providers.
Support the crisis management team readiness during crisis or disaster exercises, and support the implementation of roadmaps & strategies.
Trigger continuous improvement actions and ensure security processes are systematically updated and fit for purpose.
Coordinate the Business continuity activities within the terminal,
Coordinates crisis management preparedness activities, including exercise frameworks,
Who we are looking for
Qualification:
Must have a master’s degree (Bac +5),
PFSO Certified,
Technical security background, Minimum of 5 years of security experience required (experience in a port or airport facility is highly preferred),
Supervisory and team leadership experience,
Ability to develop positive and engaging productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders,
Strong interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain positive relationships with other employees and external partners,
Ability to communicate in Arabic, French, and English,
Capability to manage Multiple Tasks,
Requires excellent organizational skills, including planning, direction, and monitoring activities,
Requires ability to remain calm, and to work under stress,
background in security risk identification and management is preferred.
