Job Description

The Finance Director is responsible for the company’s financial health. He /She combines operational and strategic roles, manages accounting and financial control functions, and work with head of finance to establishes a financial strategy for the profitable long-termgrowth of the business. He/ She is responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by implementing group financial policies, procedures, controls, reporting systems. The Finance Director is responsible for the company’s financial health. He/ She is responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by implementing group financial policies, procedures, controls, reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce policies and procedures in line with the group policies. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls. Provides status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting andreporting key financial data.
• Ensures compliance and arranges for audits as required and appropriate. Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including filing of statements, forms, returns to the authorities by due dates
• Work with global team on business planning, forecasting and analysis Work with head of finance to develop and implement finance and controlling systemsand processes that align with the organization’s overall vision and its current and future business objectives.
• Increase the financial awareness across the company
• Maintain strong connections with internal/external clients to share best practices andto understand current and future trends.
• Ensures that each team member is leading by example in step with the company’s vision, mission, values and competencies.
• Provides direction, mentoring, coaching, and counseling to direct reports and to therest of the team as necessary and appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, financial or related field or equivalent work experience. At least 3 years of experience in managing an accounting function in a medium to large scale company
• Professional experience in financial leadership roles and /or senior business controllingroles with international or in BPO industry
• Strong communication skills in English
